The Flash (or simply Flash) is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics . Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert , the original Flash first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (cover date January 1940/release month November 1939). Cyborg   is a fictional   superhero   appearing in   American comic books   published by   DC Comics . The character was created by writer   Marv Wolfman   and artist   George Pérez   and first appears in a   special insert   in   DC Comics Presents   #26 (October 1980). Originally known as a member of the   Teen Titans , Cyborg was established as a founding member of the   Justice League   in DC's   2011 reboot   of its comic book titles and subsequently in the   2016 relaunch   of its continuity. The character appears in the  DC Extended Universe , where he is played by actor  Ray Fisher .
