Marvel Battleworld - Secret Wars - Age Of Ultron Vs. Marvel Zombies (2015) - Comic
That age-old war for supremacy between zombies and robots has found a new battlefield thanks to Secret Wars. James Robinson and Steve Pugh's Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies is the latest book to explore the hellish landscape known as the Deadlands that lies south of Battleworld's great wall. The mash-up makes for another entertaining Secret Wars tie-in, albeit one that doesn't quite seem to know what its focus is. Robinson devotes time in this first issue to exploring both factions. Neither the zombies nor the robots could be said to be protagonists of the story, though the script does examine the origins of the particular incarnation of Ultron and how this Age of Ultron domain differs from that of Brian Bendis' Age of Ultron mini-series. The story really hinges on a handful of characters pulled from other Battleworld domains and forced to fend for themselves in the Deadlands.
