Claptrap is a fictional character that appears in the Gearbox Software video game series Borderlands . Claptrap is a CL4P-TP general purpose robot manufactured by Hyperion and has been programmed with an overenthusiastic personality. It brags frequently, yet also expresses severe loneliness and cowardice. Lilith is Borderlands' "Siren" class . She is originally from the planet Dionysus and is one of six Sirens , a group of women with unbelievable powers. In the opening mission of Borderlands 3 , Lilith is looking for new Crimson Raiders recruits who are willing to investigate the Children of the Vault cult. She gives missions to the Vault Hunters to find more information about the new Vaults popping up around the galaxy because she cannot do it herself since Tyreen has leeched her ability to her Siren powers. As head of the Crimson Raiders, she can command the tiny army that they have to investigate certain areas. When Tyreen is ultimately defeated, Lilith gains her Siren powers back and risks herself to save both Pandora and Elpis. Handsome Jack is a character in Gearbox Software 's Borderlands video game franchise. He is the President of the Hyperion Corporation, which takes control of the planet Pandora; and is the main antagonist of Borderlands 2 . Jack believes in his mind that he is the hero of the story being the heroic savior of everyone and that the world revolves around him. Jack was conceived early on as a fellow Vault Hunter " frenemy " before being changed to an outright villain to make Borderlands 2 clearer. Primary concerns fell on making him balance both the seriousness and humor of the game. The character is voiced by Dameon Clarke . Borderlands begins some time after the Dahl Corporation's abandonment of the planet Pandora . Four Vault Hunters (Brick, Lilith, Mordecai, and Roland) arrive in search of the fabled Vault. After discovering the town of Fyrestone, the Vault Hunters begin to receive psychic instructions from a mysterious woman known as the "Guardian Angel". The Vault Hunters meet a CL4P-TP or "Claptrap" robot and a doctor named Zed who help them establish a reputation by killing several bandit leaders, eventually leading to the collection of an alien artifact, being the first piece of a key needed to open the Vault. This causes Patricia Tannis, Dahl's former archaeologist still in residence on the planet, to contact the Vault Hunters, revealing that the Vault can only be accessed once every 200 years and that the time of the next opening is approaching. It, also known as  Pennywise  the Dancing Clown or Bob Gray, is the  title character  of  Stephen King 's 1986  horror  novel  It . The character is an entity which preys upon the children of  Derry, Maine , roughly every thirty years, using a variety of powers that include the ability to shapeshift, manipulate, and go unnoticed by adults. King stated in a 2013 interview that he came up with the idea for Pennywise after asking himself what scared children "more than anything else in the world". He felt that the answer was clowns. King has also acknowledged on his website that he originally wanted the title character of It to be a  troll  like the one in the children's tale " Three Billy Goats Gruff ", but who inhabited the local  sewer system  rather than just the area beneath one bridge.
