In an extremely daring thrust into the Superorkan, they discover a pyramid that confirms Leyden's theory that the gale is of artificial origin. Without entering the pyramid, they must stop the expedition. Back on the ARISTOTLE, the research spaceship is attacked and destroyed by five Maahk roll rooms.
