WALL-E (stylized with an interpunct as WALL·E) is a 2008 American computer-animated science fiction film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It was directed and co-written by Andrew Stanton, produced by Jim Morris, and co-written by Jim Reardon. It stars the voices of Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight, Jeff Garlin, John Ratzenberger, Kathy Najimy and Sigourney Weaver, with Fred Willard in the film's (and Pixar's) only prominent live-action role. The overall ninth feature film produced by the company, WALL-E follows a solitary robot on a future, uninhabitable, deserted Earth, left to clean up garbage. However, he is visited by a probe sent by the starship Axiom, a robot called EVE, with whom he falls in love and pursues across the galaxy.

After directing Finding Nemo, Stanton felt Pixar had created believable simulations of underwater physics and was willing to direct a film set largely in space. WALL-E has minimal dialogue in its early sequences; many of the characters do not have voices, but instead communicate with body language and robotic sounds designed by Burtt. The film incorporates various topics including consumerism, corporatocracy, nostalgia, waste management, human environmental impact and concerns, obesity, and global catastrophic risk. It is also Pixar's first animated film with segments featuring live-action characters. Following Pixar tradition, WALL-E was paired with a short film titled Presto for its theatrical release.

Disney Infinity is an action-adventure sandbox video game developed by Avalanche Software and Heavy Iron Studios and published by Disney Interactive Studios. It was announced on January 15, 2013. The game used collectible figurines that were then synchronized with the game, unlocking characters from Disney and Pixar properties that interact and go on adventures. The game was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS in August 2013. A PC version of Toy Box was also released on November 14, 2013. The game had a budget approaching $100 million. A sequel, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, was released on September 23, 2014. The third edition, Disney Infinity 3.0, was released on August 30, 2015, and introduced support for the Apple TV. This game was also later on Microsoft Windows in 2013.

Power Discs can be placed on the Disney Infinity Base in order to give a Figure additional Abilities and upgrades, or to place certain toys or customizations in the Toy Box.

Power discs come in two types: Circular Power Discs and Hexagonal Power Discs.
  • Circular discs go under a figure to provide stat boosts to your character, change their costume, summon another character to fight with your character, or trigger an event that will deal damage to enemies.
  • Hexagonal discs are placed on the hexagonal spot at the back of the base, where a Play Set piece would normally go, and provide either texture customizations (Skydomes and Texture Sets) or new toys for your Toy Box.

The discs of Disney Infinity 1.0 and Disney Infinity 2.0 are sold in blind packs of two discs each, sold for $4.99 a pack. In one pack, you can receive two hexagonal discs, two circular discs, or one of each. This is changed in Disney Infinity 3.0, where the power discs are sold in themed packs of four discs each for $9.99 per pack.

For Disney Infinity 1.0, Toys "R" Us sold ten exclusive rare Power Discs, which were all sold in exclusive blind packs released one at a time at certain events at Toys "R" Us over the course of several months. Each of these special packs contained one exclusive power disc and one other random, nonexclusive power disc.
