Batman & Robin (Movie 1997) - Robin on Redbird - Scale model
The Redbird was a custom motorcycle that was owned by Robin.
After Mr. Freeze stole a diamond necklace from a charity ball, Batman and Robin chased after him with Batman in the Batmobile and Robin on the Redbird. They chased Freeze down a giant statue's arm, and with the fingers at the end, Freeze used those fingers as a jump. Batman realised that Robin couldn't make the jump, so he insisted Robin stand down, but Robin repeatedly refused. When they got closer to the jump, Batman shut down the Redbird from the Batmobile using the remote engine deactivation feature. Batman safely made the jump, but while the Batmobile didn't survive, the capred crusader ejected to a high enough place to reach Freeze. Robin, at the fingertips, screamed at Batman for shutting down the Redbird and not trusting him.
Robin is een fictieve superheld uit de strips van DC Comics. Hij is vooral bekend als de sidekick van Batman; waar Batman gebaseerd is op de vleermuis is Robin gebaseerd op de roodborstlijster.
Zijn eerste voorkomen in een stripverhaal was in 1940 (Detective Comics deel 38). 'The Boy Wonder' heeft meerdere identiteiten, want er zijn meerdere personen die het masker gedragen hebben in de Comics.
Naast het bestrijden van het kwaad met Batman, stond hij aan het hoofd van the Teen Titans. Zijn kostuum kan als het tegengestelde van Batman gesteld worden, daarom dat Robin zich meestal ook als de vrolijkste van de Batmangroep (Batman, Batgirl, Robin en Nightwing) rekent.

Batman & Robin is a 1997 American superhero film based on the DC Comics characters Batman and Robin. It is the fourth and final installment of Warner Bros.' initial Batman film series. The film was directed by Joel Schumacher and written by Akiva Goldsman. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Alicia Silverstone, and Uma Thurman. Batman & Robin tells the story of Batman and Robin as they attempt to prevent Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy from freezing all mankind to death and repopulating the earth with mutant plants, while at the same time struggling to keep their partnership together. It is also to date the only live-action film appearance of Batgirl, who helps the title characters fight the villains.

A scale model is most generally a physical representation of an object, which maintains accurate relationships between all important aspects of the model, although absolute values of the original properties need not be preserved. This enables it to demonstrate some behavior or property of the original object without examining the original object itself. The most familiar scale models represent the physical appearance of an object in miniature, but there are many other kinds.
Scale models are used in many fields including engineering, architecture, film making, military command, salesmanship and hobby model building. While each field may use a scale model for a different purpose, all scale models are based on the same principles and must meet the same general requirements to be functional. The detail requirements vary depending on the needs of the modeler.
