Christmas - BB-8, D-O, C-3PO (Star Wars) - Postcard - (Geek Gear November 2019)

C-3PO or See-Threepio is a humanoid robot character from the Star Wars franchise who appears in the original Star Wars films, the prequel trilogy and the sequel trilogy. Built by Anakin Skywalker, C-3PO was designed as a protocol droid intended to assist in etiquette, customs, and translation, boasting that he is "fluent in over six million forms of communication". Along with his astromech droid counterpart and friend R2-D2, C-3PO provides comic relief within the narrative structure of the films, and serving as foils. Anthony Daniels has portrayed the character in all nine Star Wars cinematic films released to date, including Rogue One and the animated The Clone Wars; C-3PO and R2-D2 are the only characters to appear in every film.

BB-8 (or Beebee-Ate) is a droid character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Spherical with a free-moving domed head, BB-8 is portrayed by both a rod puppet and a remote-controlled robotic unit.

D-O was a droid discovered by BB-8 on the Bestoon Legacy that was once owned by Ochi. The droid was reactivated by BB-8 in 35 ABY, and later brought along to Kijimi, where he was further repaired by Rey. An excitable little droid, D-O befriended the Resistance droid, and wanted to be just like his droid friend.

D-O was capable of speech in Basic, though it was rather limited and often times garbled, with a noticeable stutter.

Dobby  was a male house-elf who served the Malfoy family . His masters were Dark Wizards who treated him cruelly. In 1992  he disobeyed his masters and tried to warn Harry Potter of the plot to have the Chamber of Secrets reopened. He came to know this via the contact between his masters and Lord Voldemort . At the end of that school year, after Harry had vanquished the memory of Tom Riddle and slayed the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets, he tricked Lucius Malfoy into freeing Dobby.
