BB-8 (or Beebee-Ate) is a droid character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Spherical with a free-moving domed head, BB-8 is portrayed by both a rod puppet and a remote-controlled robotic unit.

R2-D2 is a fictional robot character in the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas, who appears in the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, the sequel trilogy, and Rogue One. A small astromech droid, R2-D2 is a major character and appears in all Star Wars films to date. The Prancing Pony (i.e. the Inn of the Prancing Pony) was an inn in Bree where Frodo Baggins , Sam , Pippin , and Merry first met Strider . The Prancing Pony was based inside the central hub of the town, near stables and various merchant stalls. Since Bree was built on the major road of the Greenway , it was a fairly well-traveled inn, and was so accustomed to hobbits that designated hobbit-rooms had been built.
