Batman - Legends of the Dark Knight - Scarecrow (Twister Strike) - Action Figure - (Kenner)
The Scarecrow (Dr. Jonathan Crane) is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman. The character first appeared in World's Finest Comics #3 (cover-dated Sept. 1941) and was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Scarecrow is one of Batman's most enduring enemies and belongs to the collective of adversaries that make up Batman's rogues gallery.

A nightmarish vision of evil with haunted, glowing eyes, Twister Strike Scarecrow rises like a hideous, ghostly apparition and launches his reign of terror. He clears a path of destruction with his deadly scythe slash attack that cuts down all who stand in his way -- all except for Batman, who stands determined to end the tyranny.

After the failed Legends of Batman line, Kenner gave the Elseworlds version of Batman figures one last shot by releasing Legends of the Dark Knight. Based on the popular comic of the same name, Legends of the Dark Knight featured all Elseworlds versions of Batman and other characters. The only character figures in this line to stay true to their comic images were Dark Knight Detective Batman, an online exclusive, and Man-Bat. Like Legends of Batman, this line never gained popularity, and was quickly cancelled. Later, a few unproduced figures from this line were offered as online exclusives.

An action figure is a poseable character figurine, made of plastic or other materials, and often based upon characters from a film, comic book, video game, or television program. These action figures are usually marketed toward boys and adult collectors.
According to a study in Sweden, action figures with traditional masculine traits primarily target boys. While most commonly marketed as a children's toy, the action figure has gained wide acceptance as an adult collector item. In such a case, the item may be produced and designed on the assumption it will be bought solely for display.
